Jeremy and Kalihr Lewis 3.3.18
I had the pleasure of being Jeremy and Kalihr's photographer for their recent wedding.
It was my first time photographing a wedding, and boy was I nervous! Pinterest became my best friend, I had a sheet of must have photos engraved in my brain and constantly fiddled with my camera until I felt like we knew each other inside out.
I woke up to a day that any bride to be would only dream of, the fog was lifting and temperature rapidly rising - to what would eventuate into a 27 degree day. My batteries were fully charged and lenses spotless, and off I went to meet the lads.
Once I arrived on farm at Heathstock I immediately felt as ease and began snapping away, exploring settings around the yard and urging the boys to get in the shower ASAP. We got there in the end and arrived at Mt Arden with time to spare for the ceremony.
The girls arrived 20 minutes later and the ceremony was off, filled with lots of laughs and some beautiful vows exchanged between the bride and groom. We had the opportunity to drive up the track to the top of the hill, where we were greeted with exceptional 360 degree views. Whilst enjoying a picnic, we managed to wrap up a lot of the bridal party photos and get some gorgeous moments with the couple.
Next we headed to the SKID PAD en route to the reception - take a look at the photo.......this explains it all!
As the sun began to set, we arrived at the reception where the guests were waiting patiently and eagerly for the party to arrive. Speeches went off without a hitch and once everyone was fed and hydrated the dancing began, and from what I've heard they made a night of it.
May the next 60+ years be as enjoyable as your wedding day -thanks Mr and Mrs Lewis!
